12 January: Nomad Chef Anti-Antebellum!

The word “antebellum” refers to the period before the American Civil War, and we usually associate this period with slavery. And “bellum” has its roots in rebellion. But in spite of the political backdrop during this period, those in the southern United States influenced by many cultures including the French, English and Africans. The Nomad Chef will celebrate the rebel in all of us with this anti-antebellum dinner. The menu will be curated from the best in hearty Southern American food, with improvisation around some of the more exotic influences.

The dinner will include an aperitif and 3 course meal, plus a fabulous pudding.

A vegetarian option is always available.

£35 per adult as contribution for food – you bring your own wine or alcoholic beverage.
