Nomad Chef: Viva Cubana!
Dinner on the 6th of October – well, you won’t want to miss it. Not only are we spinning tales of our lives, in true nomad fashion, but we’ll be spinning Cuban music while eating… but even more exciting than that is our guest performance by Shiva Feshareki, playing gypsy music on the violin (nomadic, eh?). And if we are really lucky (fingers crossed), maybe our favorite Americanized Londoner musician, Alex Berger, might perform too.
For two weeks in October 1962, the United States, Cuba and Russia faced off in what is now referred to as the Cuban Missile Crisis. In celebration of the aversion of a nuclear war and the end of humanity as we know it, we are saluting that little island that nearly triggered a world war. Viva cubana! Our menu will be inspired by all things cuban, but more importantly, our soundtrack for the evening will be exclusively Cuban. Put on your dancing shoes!
The dinner that can be accompanied by an optional wine tasting, will include an aperitif and 3 course meal, plus a fabulous pudding (or two!).
Weather permitting, we can have our aperitif and even our dinner in the lovely garden.
Vegetarian option is always available.
£30 per adult as contribution for food – you bring your own wine or alcoholic beverage.
£10 addition for wine tasting per adult (wines paired to each course).
